| Enterprise Rental Car? I've been poking around and found a great price for Enterprise ($18/day for compact car, total $70 for the weekend) on lowestfare.com. I found nothing else even close, the best I could do was $104 from Alamo with the Disney Visa discount. We are going for marathon weekend again and kind of need the car. I've read so much about bad service from Enterprise (and Alamo for that matter) that I'm concerned now. I'm also not sure if $34 is worth having to shuttle to the car rental lot. We will only have carry ons and its just two adults, so in terms of carting stuff around its not bad, but I assume its a little time consuming. So what are your thoughts? Is the shuttle ride long? or is it sort of like the shuttle ride at the Detroit airport (all rental cars at Detroit are a shuttle away)? Has anyone had a good experience with Enterprise? |

| Re: Enterprise Rental Car? I rented from Enterprise near MCO and had VERY good luck with them. I got a car for $14 a day (Ford Focus). I could have paid $11 for a "rollerskate". Their pickup/dropoff is right near the airport and they have free shuttle service. I rented in early February 2004. When I need a car at home I also rent from Enterprise and I have NEVER had a problem with them in fact I have had a free upgrade several times. |
