Delta..slashing prices soon? & Jet Blue rates Just an FYI... The newspapers recently mentioned that Delta is struggling not to go out of business and may be slashing their fares considerably (possibly in half) very soon..perhaps over the next few days. I've checked on rates, and thus far nothing yet, but will be keeping my eyes peeled. Also...Jet Blue has announced some great deals to Florida right now for air travel up until mid Feb of 05. ![]()

Re: Delta..slashing prices soon? & Jet Blue rates Most of the airlines reduced fares for flying soon, I think up thru February 12th or 14th. You can get RT tickets out of BOS or BDL to MCO for about $116 per person with taxes and fees! What a great deal!

Re: Delta..slashing prices soon? & Jet Blue rates That Jet Blue flies out of San Diego but I have never seen anything under $420.00 which is really high. I can get SWA ffor $200. And those JB flights only have red eyes through JFK, really horrible, expensive flights for us here. AA had some flights for $228 which is good for us.

Re: Delta..slashing prices soon? & Jet Blue rates My problem with flying with Delta from Philadelphia is you can't get a direct flight to Orlando you have to stop somewhere, most likely Atlanta. My dd and I don't perticularly like take offs and landings so I like a direct flight since it's only about 2 hours and 15 minutes anyway.

I live in Memphis and the rates stink about 400 bucks, 200 on the saem plane from Little Rock. Ever since we got a NWA hub our rates are sky high and Delta dropped a little but still around 385 for MCO. What a rip off.

Just typical Memphis.... it is a rip off. I am flying out of Little Rock direct non-stop for 200 bucks.
