Southwest Airlines

For those of you needing to purchase airfare on Southwest, I was just on their website this morning and noticed they are now booking travel through October 28th. They must have just released these dates today because as of yesterday afternoon they were only booking through September.

We are thinking of going to WDW either the last weekend in Sept or Oct 8-11. Glad to see these new dates!!

Re: Southwest Airlines

Wow, I checked very early this morning and they weren't out yet! Yeah - now the question is, are there any fare sales expected in the near future? The flights I want total $388 !

Re: Southwest Airlines

I have been watching as well and jumped as soon as the new dates were listed. But they were more than USAir and an extra hour drive to BWI so we went with USAir out of National. :-( I love Southwest but they just could not do the job this time.

Re: Southwest Airlines

Southwest releases the best rates for their flights about a month or so before the date. If you can hold out, I would do so, if not book and keep checking as your date gets closer as they are wonderful with changing your fare and crediting you the fare. Also, I would highly suggest downloading DING if you are able to. Right now DING fares only go until Sept 12(I think). I saved a lot of money for another trip with it.
Good luck

Re: Southwest Airlines

Ding is a program that you download. It keeps you all up to date instantly with airfare sales and all that happy stuff. I would have it but it doesn't work on Apple computers yet . It is pretty cool. Southwest you can also buy now and when the saqle hits for your time frame call and you will get the difference in credit for another trip.
