Can you change your flight after purchase?

I've never had to do this before and I'm hoping I don't have to. My SIL is going with us this trip to WDW. I purchased our airfare last month on Spirit for a great deal. I told SIL when we were going. It turns out that she may need to come back a day earlier as she may have to work. Would I be able to change her return flight?

If she does need to work, she is going to try and switch days with someone. I hope she can.

I pretty sure she can swtich her flight, but it is going to cost her. I'm not sure how much it is, but I'm sure if you call the airlines they can tell you. Good luck with her switching days!!

Re: Can you change your flight after purchase?

I recently had to change my Delta Song flight for my October trip. Found out we have a wedding to go to the afternoon I was to arrive home. So, I had to change my return flight to a much earlier morning flight. Song charged me $25.00 for this change. Other than the cost for me, Song had no problem changing the flight for me. Good Luck.

Re: Can you change your flight after purchase?

I recently had to change our 2 tickets deciding to leave a day earlier. We had a discount rate with Southwest. It was very easy & painless. I did it by telephone with NO additional charge.
You shouldn't have a problem. I don't know if Spirit has a fee though.

Each airline has different policies regarding this. If you purchased online through Expedia, Orbitz, etc. their rules are MUCH more strict. Contact Spirit and ask.
