TA Uses Quicksilver

Just wondering if anyone has used them? Would you use them again? Your experience? I couldn't find any posts about them, but this is who my TA uses.

Re: TA Uses Quicksilver

I'm afraid I can't help you here because, although I made some inquiries of Quicksilver, I've never actually used their services. I've only ever used Tiffany Town Car and I really like their service. To be honest, I don't necessarily go along with any service recommended by a TA solely because they have recommended it. The cynical side of me always wonders if they're getting some sort of kickback or perk for doing so. We've used a great TA on numerous occasions for our WDW trips but they've never recommended a town car company to me.

Re: TA Uses Quicksilver

We used Quicksilver on our trip, and our service was fantastic. Our driver was waiting for us both times, and he was curteous and drove safely. I'd not hesitate to use them again. We tried to use Tiffany Town Car based on all the recommendations here, but we needed a trip to Discovery Cove, and the prices were not listed on the website. So I called for a quote, and was told a price and to call back a few days before we travelled to schedule. I called back about 2 weeks ahead of time, and was told they had no availablity for that date, and really preferred to make airport trips only, and was promptly hung up on while asking another question. So, I called Quicksilver, and was treated curteously, so we used them.

I worry too that the Lincoln will be able to hold our luggage. We are taking 3 large pieces and I have one duffel type that will be stuffed into my one suitcase and then used on the way back for clothes because I plan on buyings LOTS of souvenirs. LOL

Re: TA Uses Quicksilver

I haven't used Quicksilver myself, but I know many people who have and they are all very pleased with the service.

I have met Gregory Nicholas, the owner of Quicksilver, at the last two MouseFests. He's a nice guy and he runs a good business.

So don't worry about using Quicksilver, you will be pleased with the service.

And as far as trunk space, a Lincoln Town Car has a trunk big enough to carry 3 people in, so I'm sure your luggage will fit. They're huge!

Re: TA Uses Quicksilver

I used Quicksilver last year and will be using them again this year! They were terrific! I made a mistake on my arrival date. They called me on my cell phone to find me - I was still at work. I apologized. Mr. Nicholas called me and we got the date worked out. The same driver picked me up on the right date! On the trip back to the airport the driver arrived at the hotel earlier than our appointed time.
I have to give them 5 stars (out of 5) for service.

Re: TA Uses Quicksilver

I also used Quicksilver and will definately use them again! They were wonderful! The driver was on time and very helpful! The owner even caught a couple of issues with my reservation and immediately notified me and answered all of my questions quickly. I will use them again! We had a van because there were 4 of us and two in car seats and we had alot of luggage and wanted to do the grocery stop and needed all the extra room and it didn't cost much more.
You will be pleased with them I am sure!

And THAT's what you do with the kids who won't be quiet in the car!

Just kidding!

(We all know you should actually tie them to the luggage rack.)

We used Quicksilver in May and they were great! I am planning to use them again for our trips in October and February.

Re: TA Uses Quicksilver

I used them in Oct 2004 and they were fabulous. I was going to use them again to go back to the airport in July but I might be adventurous and try DME since it's only one way.
