| My parents just got off the Magical Express bus (no luggage tags, short notice) and declared it "Magical"! My dad LOVED the price tag (free  ) and my mom said it was "very nice". They did claim their own bags b/c they just decided to go last weekend and didn't have time to get the tags, but I had signed them up and they were in the computer with no problems.  Disney for starting their little trip off right!   |

For next trip, I called on too short of notice to get the tags to me. I'm feeling a little nervous about it, so I'm glad to hear it went well. I have a question, you said they claimed their own bags, did the bags then get put on the DME bus your parents were on or did they come with the other bags later? I'm just wondering if we'll have our bags right away or have to wait like we did in May. |

[/ QUOTE ] Oohh, that's what I was hoping you would say. I sure hope they do that for us. That way I can do what we usually do, DH can take the kids to the pool and I can unpack. When I went in May with my Mom, it took about 3 hours to get our bags. It was o.k. because we knew this would happen and planned accordingly - but what we didn't think of was that both of our carryons were super heavy and we didn't have our wheeled luggage to plop them on! I carried both mine and my Mom's to the room and about threw my back out because we wandered around looking for our room at Pop. We weren't very bright!!! |

I just booked my trip for December and decided to use the Magical Express instead Tiffany Town Car but was a little nervous since it started out kind of shakey!  |

Thanks. [/ QUOTE ] Their flight got in about 820 and they had a little delay getting their bags (wrong carousel). They got their own b/c they didn't have time to get luggage tags and didn't know that Disney will pull your bags for you. My dad said they walked up to the counter at about 9pm, were sent straight to the queue for Pop and walked right on. They left about 910 and were at Pop's front door at 930-935. So, if you aren't claiming your own bags, it would be much faster. Hope that helps! |
