Question Discounts to Dixie Stampede in Myrtle Beach?

I've been searching to find discounted tickets to the Dixie Stampede in Myrtle Beach but have come back empty-handed. Does anyone know of any discount code to use when purchasing these tickets? We're planning on going around July 2nd. Thanks for any help!

I've never seen discounts offered online, but here are a couple of places you can try. Most hotel lobbies will have brochures for local attractions. Many of the brochures have discount coupons (this is how we received our discounts for the Pigeon Forge location). You can also try South Carolina's Welcome Center. They carry the same brochures as the hotels but in greater quantities.

Thanks for the help! I was hoping to order the tickets beforehand so it would be one less expense. There is an option to input a discount code, so I was wondering where to find this code. Oh well...I'll keep searching.

The only discounts you can find for Dixie Stampede are in the discount books at the hotels and Myrtle Beach Welcome Centers. One book has a discount of $2.00 per ticket and one has a discount for $3.00 per ticket. We went earlier this month and on a lark found a $5.00 per ticket discount on a flyer at the Bass Pro Shop store in the Colonial Mall not much farther north than the Dixie Stampede. Unfortunately, the discount ends May 31st on that particular coupon. For any coupon you book with, you must take the coupon with you when you pick up your tickets.

Thanks for the info! Is it better to wait and purchase the tickets the day of the show? I wasn't sure how the seating went...if it was purchased earlier if you were given a better seat. Just wondering... (I guess I'm used to the Hoop-Dee-Doo show in Disney! We had front row seats because I'm so on the ball in ordering tickets early!)

Can't answer that one ... my son is disabled and can't walk stairs so we requested handicapped seating which is on the top row.

We purchased our tickets the morning of the show. Our seats were up front, but I cannot say for sure that was the reason we got those seats. Dixie Stampede has stadium seating and there is not a bad seat in the whole place.

If you have a choice of where to sit when you purchase your tickets, you may want to think twice about sitting in the first row. I bought front row, center tickets for the first time we went and didn't realize the horses ride right up against the rail. While we were eating, they would kick up dirt from the arena floor each time they ran past. I'm not talking huge clumps of dirt, just a little dirt here and there, but dirt is dirt, and this is Horse Dirt. Once we realized we were eating it, we kind of lost our appetites. The show was really good and I always recommend it to people visiting. I just don't recommend the front row. If you need any tips or info., PM me since I live about 15 miles outside of MB.

I got a AAA discount at the Dixie Stampede in Orlando for $4 or so. I don't think it matters if you purcase your tickets in advance or not to get a good seat. I know during busy periods, tickets may be sold out ahead of time.

You might want to see if you can buy your tickets from AAA directly. I think the Orlando location gives $12 off if you buy the tickets through AAA.

Thanks for the info Barry! I'm going to go online to the AAA store and see if they offer discounts to the show in MB.

I've never been to the show, but have spent a lot of time in the Myrtle Beach area. One good discount book is "Sunny Day." It's in almost all the restaurants/stores near the entrance/exit. You might find a coupon there - check hotel lobbies, too.

Have fun!

Cool

Thanks! It's funny because I found a website (can't remember name of course) where it listed discounts. When I clicked on it, it did give me a couple of them but at the bottom it had another listing that said additional discounts. Well, when I clicked there they had a link to Sunny Day and I was able to print out all the coupons! YIPPEE! And, the best was, there was one for the Dixie Stampede.
