What is your dream vacation spot??
If money were no object - what is your dream vacation?
For me - visiting Australia and New Zealand for 2 or 3 weeks. I want to dive with a Great White shark, dive on the Great Barrier Reef and go to many of the places in New Zealand where they filmed the Lord of the Rings Series.

Meeting Jacques in January 1976!! My first WDW trip.
I need to go back to Italy. We were in Tuscany for DB's wedding in 2004 when DD was only 9 months old. Needless to say, we didn't get to see half of what we had planned . I have to go back, there are so many places in Italy that I am yearning to see. My dad is from Sardinia, so I would love to go there and see where he grew up and meet some of the family. Of course we have to wait until our children are a little bit older, but this is our dream vacation

I'd love to go to Dubai. I know that seems kind of weird, wanting to go to a Middle Eastern country, but Dubai is unlike anything we have on the planet. It's supposed to be extremely exotic and extremely ritzy. I think it'd be fun to stay on one of the islands that are shaped like continents - it's called "The World" and you can see it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World_(archipelago).
I honestly cannot think of a place on this earth, no matter how mundane or exotic, that I wouldn't like to visit; get to know the people and their society/customs; their history and architecture; their hopes and dreams; the plants and animals that inhabit the country; and the land itself.
I'd go as my feelings led me...right now, today, I think my dream location would be to explore all of the UK and Ireland (part of the ancesteral home, y'know!)
I would love to visit Bora Bora and stay in one of those huts located at the end of the pier. I believe they even have glass floors so you can see the sea underneath! Ahhhh.... to be able to dream!!

I would love to do a round the world trip, taking in all the places I'm desperate to see, so staying four or five nights in Dubai, then three or four nights in Bangkok (Hong Kong is already planned for, so I won't include that! ), two weeks in Japan and then two weeks in Hawaii with a stop in Los Angeles for a couple of nights on the way home.
I have the perfect spot! Standing on the balcony of my suite on a cruise around the world! Oh, heck, just give me a balcony on any cruise ship on any cruise to anywhere. I'm easy! Bigred
I'd go back to London and then up to Scotland for awhile. My husband's great grandmother lived in Scotland many years ago. While she lived there she became pregnant and was put on a boat to the US. That's all we really know about her so I'd like to go back to see if we could research it.
