| Harrisburg, PA We'll be going over the Memorial Day weekend with another family. Hershey Park is on our list. Amish country and Gettysburg as well. We heard that everything Amish related is closed on Sundays. Is this true? I guess if it is, then we should do Hershey Park on Sunday. Any good family friendly restuarants in the area? Thanks.

| Yes - anything run by the Amish will be closed on Sundays, but the outlets, Dutch Wonderland, and anything in Lancaster that isn't run by the Amish will still be open. Also - just so you know it's about 30 min from Hershey to Lancaster, and at good hour between them and Gettysburg......especially on a holiday weekend! Have fun! (You can PM me if you need more detailed info - I live in the area)

| The Boyds bear place in Gettysburg is really cool! All of the following places are great for families. We've eaten at Hoss's Steak and Sea House - Home Page in Gettysburg and that was yummy. In Lancaster, we like Miller's Smorgasbord - Lancaster County Family Tradition since 1929 - lots of good PA Dutch foods. Yum! We also like to go to Welcome to Kitchen Kettle Village Nice place to walk around. In Hershey, I just like to eat lots of chocolate. They make my favorite sundae and shake in Hershey's chocolate world with the special dark chocolate. Man now I'm hungry!!
