|  National Memorial Day Concert in DC Has anyone attended this? It's held on the west lawn of the Capitol on the Sunday night before Memorial Day. We will be attending a concert at the Kennedy Center earlier in the day and I'm not sure I want to attend another in the evening. I was planning on a DC Lights Tour for that night, but I don't want to miss something that is really awesome and I'll regret it later. The other problem is that I can't get the lights tour the night before with the tour company I want. I'm going to check out another company, maybe I can get one with them. Any thoughts? Should we go to the concert our stick with the lights tour?

| I would like to go to this, sometime, I don't think I have ever been. It may be something you would like, too, as you are attending the other concert. You will already be in town. It is not very far away from your hotel, so it would not be that much for you to go back afterwards... We have been having some unusually cool weather, but it may be hotter by then...

| I have always watched this broadcast on Armed Forces Network. It is a wonderful and moving event. Someday I would love to attend in person.
