| National Museum of Crime and Punishment OK, its another 'pay' museum... I did see this the other day when I was walking down 7th St. to get to the US Navy Memorial, but I figured it was something they were doing for Police Week. It costs 17.95 for 12 and older, 14.95 for military, LEO, and 60 years and up. 5 to 11 years are 14.95 and under 5 is free. To me, this usually means somebody is going to be 'stuck' entertaining the younger set, because it would not be kid-friendly (IMHO). I'll see if I can go there sometime soon and let you know, unless somebody else can check it out? It is very close by the Spy Museum and the US Navy Memorial and such. It is practically next door to the District Chop House & Brewery. National Museum of Crime&Punishment

| It does sound pretty freaking neat, though I am pretty sure I wouldn't want to be dragging DD through it. Maybe it's something I can convince my dad (the police officer) that he needs to see and that he and my mom need to haul themselves to DC next summer.

| It looks pretty interesting, but we'll have to pass this weekend. Already have too much on the agenda and trying to figure how to fit it all in! Also, trying to stick with the freebies aside from the DC Lights Tour.

| Thanks for the link! Not to hijack but any definite date on when the American History Museum will reopen? We have lived here for a year and have been waiting impatiently to visit this one!
