Okay, I know I just posted about Hawaii.... but I saw this in a magizine and it sparked my interest as a honeymoon destination.

OOhhhhh I have been here It has been years though. My best friend got married there on one of the islands and got married on the beach too We had a great hotel, right on the beach with a beach view. I would love to go back someday.

We were there in March and the weather was gorgeous. I did find a travel guide book when we went, and I have seen them in stores. That may be your best bet. Wish I could be of more help, but it really has been awhile.

We were there a few years ago. The resort areas are very nice. Overall the area is poverty-stricken. Be cautious of some of the tours that take buses. Many buses are quite old with bald tires and broken seats. The infrastructure is horrible. Pot holes the size of Texas!

We've been! Only for a day on a cruise ship, but we loved it! The people are very friendly and there is a fascinating diverse mix of cultures there - Mayan, Garinagu, Mennonite, and many more. I believe scuba, sailing, and other water sports are the major draws.
