| I love Harbour Town - the Crazy Crab and the Salty Dog at the Marina are great, family friendly places. The beach is wonderful, we usually go to Folly Beach. There are some great mini-golf places to. We like the Pirate one, I can't remember the name! Treasure Island maybe?

| We just got back from a stay at HHI! Where are you staying? We stayed at Disney's HHI resort, and there was plenty to do without even leaving the resort! I second Sara's recommendation of Harbourtown. Lots of great places to eat and shop. The Salty Dog was wonderful! There are alot of chain type restaurants, but we found that most places were family friendly. We played miniature golf at Legendary Golf, it was alot of fun. There's horseback riding, which is a little pricey but very cool. Also, there is a museum called the Coastal Discovery Museum ~ Hilton Head Island SC that is geared towards family. There are dolphin cruises, and of course, the beach! This link takes you to the offical Hilton Head website: Official Hilton Head Island, South Carolina: Vacation & Travel Guide And this is a link to my trip report, which has information about the area and what we did: Horses, Harbours and Happenings:Steve and Sue visit Chincoteague and Hilton Head, May 2009! - COMPLETE We absolutely loved Hilton Head Island!!!
