Six Flags Fiesta or Six Flags Over Texas?

For those who have been to the two Six Flags in Texas, which is better? We aren't worried about a water park since we won't go until October. Is there much of a difference? We are big coaster fans, so we want great thrill rides. I know they both have good coasters.

We are also interested in going for their "Fright Fest" or whatever they call it at Halloween. If anyone has been there, how is it? We don't like things too scary or gory. I know Kings Dominion in VA can be pretty gory and scary at night for Halloween.

Thanks for your help!

I've been to Fiesta Texas and really liked it. My uncle was working there at the time and was able to get us in. I've never been to the other park though.

The Rattler was really fun, and the Superman coaster they had was great. There was some others we rode, but I don't recall what the names were.

I also have not been to Fright Fest at either park, but have been to it here at Six Flags St. Louis. We took our two older kids last year and there was nothing there that scared them.

I haven't been to Fiesta Texas but Six Flags in Arlington has great thrill rides.
However I heard on the news that one of the biggest rides is down for awhile
but it should be back up when you visit.

My DN and DNephew went to the Fright Fest and liked it.

I've never been to Fiesta Texas, but I work at Six Flags over Texas and we have some super fun coasters and thrill rides. Fright Fest is a fun time to go. I don't think its too scary at all. I have taken my then 3 year old son and he was fine with it. So, have a fantastic time! If you need any other information, just let me know. I've worked there for the past 3 seasons.
