| Tell me about Atlantis on Paradise Island! DH and I started discussing our 10th Anniversary trip last night and trying to narrow down ideas of where to go (When we got married we made a deal that every 5 years we would take a "big" trip alone, no kids...at 5 years we did Vegas!). Ideas were San Fran, Dublin (we went there on our honeymoon) and the Caribbean. My parents have a Sheraton timeshare so we could stay at the Harborside Resort at the Atlantis for 3-4 nights for free. I thought this may be a good option because Jet Blue flies there from Boston so airfare would most likely be on the lower end. Has any one stayed there? How is it? Is there a lot to do? How are the food costs? They offer a $100 a day per person meal plan that includes a full breakast and full dinner...is it worth it? We are thinking July (our anniversary is June 10th but school's not out yet and trying to find someone to watch the kids would be a hassle) How's the weather then? Any info would be much appreciated as neither of us has ever been to any of the islands!

| I haven't stayed at Atlantis (neither the hotel nor the timeshare) yet but we went there to look around. It's a BEAUTIFUL resort! And the water park looks amazing. It'd definitely be a great vacation. Honestly, I hope to eventually stay there myself

| Harborside is great! The worst thing about Atlantis is the price of food, so if you have a unit with a kitchen, you can make your own meals. Splurge on one fancy dinner at Dune or Cafe Martinique, and enjoy the water rides and aquariums. It's particularly nice and romantic to walk through the aquariums at night. Tghere are tons of tips about Harborside on this page: Harborside Resort tips Happy anniversary, and have a great time! |

| I haven't stayed their either just visited (while on a cruise) but the resort is beautiful and the water park is amazing. It will be tough not to think of your little ones once you see the stuff they have to do there.

| Dh and I went there to the waterpark while on our cruise. It was fun, but confusing to find your way around, and really there aren't that many slides at the waterpark. The best park was the not-so-lazy river. Yes, the food was very expensive!

| Hi, The atlanta resorts a legendary and lavish property on Paradise Island, near Nassau in the Bahamas and just a hop from Florida. An amazing place prior to 2007, The Atlantis added the AQUAVENTURE waterpark, The Cove luxury lodgings, and The Reef Atlantis beachside tower with kitchen-equipped suites.
