Not sure if you're looking for lunch or dinner.

If it's pizza you want, look no further than Giordano's. We also like the Walnut Room in Macy's - it shouldn't be a zoo yet although it gets crazy at the holidays. Rhapsody is more upscale and has a very nice lunch menu.

Have so much fun!

Giordano's will be a must. I have never eaten there but had the pizza's drop shipped as a gift and they were wonderful. Rhapsody sounds intresting I think we will check that out as well.

If you want to try good innovative Mexican food go to Frontera Grill. I don't know if you know of Rick Bayless but it is his place. He has at least one other in Chicago but I have only been to Frontera and it was so good. I want to go back soon!!

Have a great trip!

Well.
It' wasn't a give away show. But seriously all I need is more stuff!
In a way sort of happy because I am sure that there are more deserving folks out there than me.
The show will air on October 13 and it was about Jaycee Duggard the girl that was abducted in CA and found 18 years later after mothering 2 children by her abductor. They skyped with John Walsh from America's Most Wanted (super nice guy I have had him on my flight many times !)
They also had the family from Tampa that had the baby taken from their home in 1997. Very sad topic! I cried.
If there was a "good" part to it this is it...... as I was entering the studio a producer came up to me and said "I need that color you are wearing, follow me" so I knew "THIS HAS TO BE GOOD" ( I bought a killer top the night before at Nemian Marcus that was too much money!) The producer continued to walk me down to the FRONT row on the right side of the stage. AWESOME seats! My friend and I were so happy! So look for me October 13 on the Oprah show. Front row on the right side in a gold/bronze looking top with lot's of bling necklaces on and I have really blonde hair. I don't want anyone to miss my .15 seconds of fame. LOL
The shopping was awesome and the food was fab! What's not to love about Chicago.. (except the winter)

Wow, it sounds like a fascinating, albeit really tough, show to see. I'm not surprised you cried. What a sad topic to be discussing.

I always wonder how people feel when they go to the Oprah show and its ends up being one of those heavy, sad topics. Some people really luck out with the giveaway shows...

Funny you should mention that. I said to anyone that would listen that I just wanted the show to be uplifting and fun. Not depressing or sad. While it was depressing and sad the staff and the opportunity to even go way overshadowed the fact that the topic was sad. I think the Lord puts us in places for reasons and while I might not understand why that show on that day now sometime it will make sense to me. If nothing more than to come home and hug my kids REALLY REALLY tight then it was worth it a thousand times over. I am a truly blessed individual with a wonderful HEALTHY family! God has blessed me many times over and I am thankful! It was a wonderful experience, not what I would have chosen, (my planning addiction taking over there) but still wonderful!
