| I have made three trip to Slovakia for work. I was in Kocise and never made it to Bratislava. I thought the weather was very similar to what we experience in PA. I would expect fall type weather this time of year. One souvenir I loved if you can find them right now are the had decorated eggs. They are not the pysinki (sp), these are very nicely decorated. They are also known for their crystal. |

| Wow! How exciting! My girls have Slovakian heritage on their Dad's side an to be honest I had never heard of it before I met him. In my ignorance I always assumed people were talking about Checkoslovakia. I would love to see pictures if you have any to share! Have a wonderful experience!

| We were close, we were in Budapest, Hungary, which is not too far from Bratislava. I wanted to take the train over, but could not fit it in. We went in September a few years ago, and it was warm and sunny, similar to the fall east coast temperatures. Layer your clothes so that if you get warm you can take a layer off. I've heard they have great deals on crystal ware and other hand crafts. |

| Wow, how exciting! Yeah, the weather should be typical New England fall weather. Probably lots of rain or drizzle, possibly a few snowflakes, cool temps overall. Hope you have a great time!
