that you find you love camping!!BTW, I see you're from the UK. I would bet that FW camping might be fun -Disney has a way of making everything fun! They do rent cabins, too. I'm guessing that flying camping gear across the Atlantic might be cost prohibitive, (and it would be tricky driving an RV that route too

| I convinced my husband to do tent camping to save money. We were in NY state at the time and they have incredibly wonderful facilities. However, my daughter thought that camping meant -setting up camp and then going to a hotel. The first trip we had that it didn't rain, she said, "When are we going to the hotel?" We didn't know at that time about the extra tarp, but I think a great deal has to do with the actual site as well. Our first trip the water came in our tent from underneath! My husband tried really hard to love it, but he always had to go to sleep at 9 PM and I missed the whole campfire, gazing at stars with my honey part. That is the best! But cooking is fun! (and challenging). Now I don't camp with my hubby because I think the star gazing and campfire and staying up half the night is the best part and he doesn't get into it much. (and now we can afford hotels) But I have to admit; his willingness to try it and attempt to love it (just like you are) speaks volumes to me and is something I really cherish about him. He was always a good sport! That I will have forever! Cheers to you for trying! Overcoming the freezing cold and the wetness together really was a huge (beautiful) part of our relationship together in the early years. Thank you so much for bringing back such wonderful memories for me! |
