Caribbean All-inclusive help!!!

Dh & I have decided on an "outer" caribbean island for our 10th anniversary in June. We will be traveling on a Wednesday through Monday, just the two of us (no kids ). I have no idea how to even start to find a good all inclusive resort or which island to go to for that matter. A lot of people have suggested Aruba so we are open to that.

We are not really "sportsy" people, so no golf or tennis 'needed', we pretty much are looking for a place with a beach, nice rooms, romantic, more then just buffet options for dining, and it has to have a pool bar (DH's requirement...ok, mine too!!!) Any suggestions?

Also, I have been browsing the Sandals Resorts site and really like the looks of their resorts (although they don't have one on Aruba, there is St. Lucia and Antigua which are definately options) has anyone stayed there? Is it "truely" all-inclusive? Any pros and cons would be VERY welcome!!

We did Sandals Montego Bay (Jamaica) for our honeymoon 13 years ago. We loved it. Very relaxing. I think most everything was included except for certain excursions. Otherwise, all food and drink were. I will say, the drinks at that time were disappointing (I didn't like the blank mixer they used for daquiris and such) but I wouldn't let that stop you (and hopefully things have improved in the 13 years since)! Otherwise, it was a great time and I'd highly recommend a Sandals resort. We also went to visit Sandals Ocho Rios, the other one in Montego Bay, and the one in Negril as well! They all looked great! I'd love to go to Aruba!

Hi Lois.

Once you make a final decision on which island and resort/hotel you have chosen I am sure passporters will flood you with recommendations, suggestions and experiences.

Of course, we will also need to know, other than the leisure time you are requesting, what your interests are and what you like to do.

I just posted five links on All Inclusive Resorts and Hotels in Aruba.

As you browse the links ocsasionally they have an email address which you can email and ask questions.

Liberetytravel.com has a form on their site where you can ask queations.
