I had a co-worked who was jsut on the Monarch a week or so ago (they did the 4 night one). It was her first cruise, and she and her DH had a really good time. Tiny rooms, but otherwise, the shop looked nice in her pics.
I did the Sensation back in Oct 2010. That was my first cruise. Rooms are definitely bigger on the Sensation (185 sq ft vs arouen 142 sq ft). Freeport and Nassau are nothing to write home about, but hey, it's pretty water. I thought the food on the shiop was great. The shows were pretty good. The nightime deck party got rained out, so I can't comment on it. They did do the midnight buffet, though. It was OK; regular DR meals and buffets were way better IMO.
