I'm looking for any recommendations for hotels in this area for next year. I've got a few picked out. The Monterey Plaza and the Intercontinental in Monterey. My concerns here are they seem to be right in the middle of it all which is good but I'm concerned about noise levels. I'm also looking at Hyatt Carmel Highlands, La Playa Carmel and Carmel Valley Ranch. They're a bit further away though. Any thoughts??? I've read some reviews which I take lightly and have looked at traveler photos of each.
