I was going to wait a couple months and watch the prices to Hawaii. But I went ahead today and took the plunge. I am going to surprise DBF with first class tickets. This will be a huge treat for us on this trip.
I took the plunge as the airfare for first class on Hawaiian Airline was much less than the other airlines. In addition if I booked each of us separately versus both at same time there was a significant price difference of over $900.
Booked the car rental last night through Costco, so looks like everything is in place, just a matter of waiting for time to pass.
I think there may have been a glitch in their system or I got lucky. Today when I checked it was same either way booking. Glad I went ahead and booked yesterday.
