WILLIAMSBURG, VA!!! We're going thru withdrawal big time, as this will be the 2nd year in a row that we aren't there for Christmas. Although, if DH comes home from work tomorrow or Friday and says he has off on Monday, we can make ressies and be on the road in 30 minutes! I kinda have a trip plan based on their events calendar "in my back pocket" ready to go just in case.
I thought my answer would sound weird to a lot of people but I actually see others have my answer; which is Hawaii (this is really my dream vacation period!)
Location: Texas Baby!!!! Where Else would anyone wana live

a cabin up in the mountains with a nice fireplace going...and hot cocoa. I've seen pics of the Rockies this time of year, and would like to experience this at least once in my lifetime.

I'm with Charlie! We so rarely get snow that I would love to rent a big log house in the Rockies and take all my grown children and their families for a week. It would be so lovely to have just our family without having to worry about exes and in-laws and assorted other folks.
