NYC

Sisters in laws are going to NYC Sept 19th thru the 24th. Have tickets for the Producers, seeing the normal sights, dinner at Tavern on the Green,
Carnegie Deli etc.
We want to do a Central Park Carriage ride. I called two different carriage ride vendors. One charges $80 for 40 minutes and the other charges $100 for 40 minutes for up to four people. The one we are leaning towards is called Manhattan Carriage Co. Is it necessary to make reservations for the 40 minute ride or can we just show up and get a ride.
Any other suggestions for dinner etc?
Thanks for your input.

I have never taken the carriage ride but there are plenty of them waiting to take tourist around.

If you want to see more Broadway shows at half price I tell you how. You need to get to TKTS booth. One located in Times Square area and the other at South Street Seaport area.

Re: NYC

I wouldn't worry about making reservations. There are always plenty of handsome cabs waiting around Central Park. Enjoy your stay!

Re: NYC

Have a great time! We visited NYC for the first time in April for Spring Break and saw The Lion King and all of the major sites, including Ground Zero. It's an awesome city!

Hello and welcome.
NYC is wonderful that time of year. Carriage rides are pretty plentiful, They line up I want to say 57th street and Central Park from CPW to CPE. If you do anything do the Open Double-Decker Buses that do upper and lower Manhattan, it really gives you an over all view of the city and to see the sights are awesome. Love NYC>

Isn't the San Genaro Feast in Little Italy going on during that timeframe? - Lots of great food and people watching!!
