Advice for Universal Studios First timers

As much as we just LOVE Disney World , we decided this trip (in 9 days...YAY!) we would like to check out Universal and IOA....the way our schedule looks now, we have two days available to do these parks. Unfortuantely, there doesn't seem to be too many great sites like this one for Universal, so I am once again hoping you great people can give us some advice We are real rookies at these parks, so any input would be appreciated!! Thanks!

Re: Advice for Universal Studios First timers

Whoo hoo!! You'll love both parks and if you take a peek at some of the Universal threads in this forum you'll find tons of great info on Universal. Also, IOA Central is a great resource along with Themeparks.com and you might check out this guidebook to assit you in planning.

HAVE FUN! And if you have any specific questions, please ask!

If I'm staying at Poly how do I get tickets for Universal without standing in line ? Be there in three days.

Re: Advice for Universal Studios First timers

We just got back from our 2nd trip to Universal, and plan to go again in June. I would drive over to the theme parks the day before and purchase your tickets if you don't want to wait in line that morning. Or get there early that morning and you can purchase them at the gate or at any resort. The parks open at 9:00, so you might want to get there 30 minutes early or so to purchase tickets to get in when the park opens. I'd be happy to answer any Universal questions you might have!
