I can't help you yet.. But I will be staying there on the 31st August 2003. I'm staying at Treasure Island 2 nights then one night and the canyon, then the last night before leaving for Orlando (and my first Disney trip) will be at the Golden Nugget. I'll fill you in on it after I get back home to Aus..

We go to Vegas every January, Hanners!! It's sort of a winter doldrums trip. The weather has always been nice and the strip is fabulous!! I can't help with the Golden Nugget, but I do know that you can get great deals on almost any hotel that time of year!! We are going from January 11-14 and are staying at the Luxor for 74 bucks a night!! Have a great time!!!
