Homewood Suites Willamsburg Va Any comment on this resort? We are planning on 8 day stay starting May 27-June 7 this year. After making reservations I see it got bad reviews on Trip Advisor not that it totally scares me. Just hoping somebody here has some infor either good or bad. Thanks for any help in advance. Kathe

Re: Homewood Suites Willamsburg Va We haven't stayed there, but we did stay at some dive motel that looked nice on the websites. Be very careful. Oh, stay a a place in between Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Those hotels looked nicer and better kept up.

Re: Homewood Suites Willamsburg Va Not familiar with Homewood, but Embassy Suites was *HORRIBLE* on our last stay. It took an hour to be seated and another 45 minutes for the server to realize we were there. My mom and I finally offered to go cook our own food! The swimming pool (huge draw for my DDs) was ice cold (indoors in Dec) b/c they were having "issues" with the heating unit, but were unable to call for a repair until a manager authorized it. In our 3 days there, we could only use the jacuzzi to get semi-warm water. To top it off, the maids took my DDs off-white pillow case and pillow (the one she *HAS* to have to sleep, which is why we brought it) with the laundry, so we our departure was delayed several hours while they rummaged through everything in the laundry to find it. I won't even go into the state of the room when we returned from our days! When my dad contacted the manager, he had a "tough beans" take on things and it took several months, letters, BBB before they finally refunded 1/2 the cost of our stay. It was dreadful and we swore to never go back there! I've heard that many hotels in the area are not the best and they don't have the "Disney Quality" spector hanging over them, so they don't have to improve.
