| Re: Aloha Kana and Pila – Part 1 [b] Our first day in Hawaii… Well… The day dawned bright and sunny. I was up early (6:30AM local time) and was able to sit on the back porch, watch the birds, and enjoy the sunshine and weather… Some of the trees/flowers…     The game plan for today was to just take it easy. Mary was going to take us around the southern part of the Island for a little sightseeing, then just relax the rest of the day… Some photos of our travels…    Diamond Head Crater from Hickam AFB swimming area…   Honolulu Skyline…  Look at the color of the water…     Jan’s pics from on-base…      NEXT: More of Oahu…    |

| Re: Aloha Kana and Pila – Part 1 I know we were shocked at how beautiful the water and the weather was. We went the first two weeks of June in 2002, and had wonderful weather. Not beastly hot and humid like Florida at all! |
