| An exciting South African expedition - updated 6/19 ^hunting photos included^ *Edited by loobyoxlip*: Kylor is my son, age 10. He went on this South African hunting safari with his grandpa (my dad) from May 27-June 9. Hi I'm Kylor. Most of you already know me. To start my trip I drove to Milwaulkee. Then we slept at Super 8. Then at 5:00 in the morning, we drove to the airport. From there we took a Delta flight to Atlanta. From Atlanta we took a South African Air flight to Johannesburg. The flight took 18 hours! On the way there I watched some movies for the whole flight. When we got to Johannesburg, we took another hour flight to Kimberly. That's where our guide Neil met us. Then we took an drive to the game ranch. When we got there, we unloaded our stuff and went to sleep. Our South African flight: ![]() |

| Re: An exciting South African expedition Welcome to the boards Kylor! Great start to your report - and your flight makes ours over to Orlando seem really short at only nine and a half hours! I feel for you being on a plane for so long, as it's really tiring to do long flights, but I hope they at least had some decent movies for you to watch.
