| Okay, finally I got all the pictures uploaded at the Imagestation site, then several of them had been copied multiple times, so I had to weed through them and delete all of the duplicates so I wasn't wasting any server space, then I was out of town over the weekend, WHEW now I think I can start posting the pictures! We didn't take any pictures prior to leaving home, or on the first evening of our trip, which was on our drive to Pine Bluff, or at the Comfort Inn there. So we'll pick up with these shots taken at the scenic overlook on Highway 65, just before coming into Marshall, Arkansas as you're heading North. ![]() Me and Joshua: ![]() A zoom-in shot: ![]() Our drive continued, and here is the bridge as you come into Branson on Highway 65: ![]() After our lunch we drove down "The Strip". Here's the front view of the Titanic museum: It just about comes right up to the sidewalk! ![]() I love how they have that water spray right at the waterline on the bow of the ship. It really makes it look like it's moving through the water. More pictures in the next post.

| More pictures from our arrival day in Branson: We drove "The Strip" all the way out, and stopped at the Scenic Overlook just before the Shepherd of the Hills. the fire tower you climb for the view: ![]() Joshua and his Papaw on the trail: ![]() The sign at the overlook: ![]() For some reason I thought I had a picture of the view from the fire tower, but I'm not finding it now. Sorry! Our next stop on our around-town drive was the Visitor Center at Table Rock Dam: ![]() Me and my parents making our way down to the water's edge: ![]() You may remember seeing me in my flannel jacket in the picture from this morning, and now you'll see me and my dad in short sleeves. It warmed up drastically that day, and stayed nice for our entire visit. Joshua at the lake: ![]() More pictures in next post...

The seemingly meek trout turn into fierce piranhas when food hits the water: ![]() Small trout: ![]() Big mouth: ![]() More pictures in next post!

| Last batch of pictures from Day 1! Finally, the resort! Here's the clubhouse where you check in: ![]() It's a little hard to tell, but they did have Christmas decorations out. I can't remember if my trip report stated that a round of mini-golf was played this evening by the boys, but here's proof that it did happen: ![]() ![]() Here's a picture of the cool entertainment center setup. You'll notice A Bug's Life DVD playing - when not at Disney, we have to take Disney with us! The door on the right leads to the master bedroom. ![]() Joshua at the kitchen/dining table playing: ![]() The door to the left of the photo leads to the foyer. To the left of that door is the connecting door to the Studio side of the unit. That's all for today. Next time I'll post the photos from Day 2, which was our first day at Silver Dollar City.

| Thanks, everyone! Sorry I don't have more photos today but I got logged on too late and now I have to go fix supper! Will get the other pictures up in a couple of days. The best news is, we get back on broadband Monday, then I can be online any time I want, without having to worry about tying up the phone lines! Thanks for sticking with me ...

These pictures are of the large nativity scene on display out in front of the performance hall: ![]() ![]() Sorry this didn't get rotated! You can't tell from these pictures since there aren't any people in the shots, but the figures are lifesize. More pictures in next post!
