| Longboat Key Just returned from a trip to Longboat Key, Florida (right by Sarasota). We go every year at this time and we love it! It's absolutely beautiful and since we go during the "off" season, it isn't crowded. There are many things to do for fun. The dining and shopping at St. Armands Circle is what I look forward to year after year and of course staying right on the beach is also a draw. My kids can't wait to go back again. They are already talking about next year!
