| Only 22 MORE DAYS to Go! I can't believe it is so close! We went from 2 years ago just a twinkle of an idea of "maybe we should move to Florida" to May 2008 actually seriously looking to move to Florida...to August 4 applying for an apartment and now its August 27th and WE ARE MOVING in 22 DAYS!!! I have been walking around whistling "zip a dee doo dah" all day every day since we found out we were approved, I only have 7 more days of work to go before I don't have to return and guess what I have done nothing of.... PACKING! That's right folks, we have only 22 days and only about 10 boxes that we packed about 2 months ago full of things that we knew we didn't need and now we have to get serious! So Tomorrow I will be cleaning out my room, packing up everything that I can and getting at least that done! I will leave enough close for the time between now and the move and the rest will be packed up! We are going to have family over the weekend of the 12-14th to help pack up the big things but we will have to get the small things packed up to go like the collectibles, and non necessity items. (is a Wii a necessity or non??....hmmmm I will go with Necessity for now...I need at least 1 other distraction or this wouldn't be an Iamgrumpy report) As far as our Itinerary and timeline for the actual move I will give you a brief rough draft as we are still working out the details! Wednesday September 17th
Friday September 19th
Grandma is staying until the 23rd at least to help us but then will fly back to CT/Mass and hopefully will come down in either Jan or Feb to visit us again! Up Next... Does amy actually pack anything and does our rough draft itinerary last?

| Welcome to the "neighborhood"!!! one piece of advice now that you are living in FL - make sure you get a GOOD renters insurance policy that includes hurricane damage coverage!!

| Renter's insurance is on the top of our list my mom's company requires she have it in order to work from home so we will be looking into getting it asap! I will try and post more of where we are going to be living and details soon! BUT right now I am about to start that whole packing thing (maybe...i am a procrastinator so who knows )

| I'm looking forward to reading all about the move. Getting a pod was a good idea, go at your own pace. And how cool that you're going on the autotrain, that will be something new for me to read about. I vote for keeping the Wii out for now, and ha-ha on the cow race, that is a funny one although I'm not that great at it. Hurry back with more in between packing!

| 1. I am a little jealous 2. There is something definitely missing from this trip report. I seem to remember a recent trip report with periodic refreshments Happy packing ![]()

| my guess is that the itinerary will stay very close to the same... but the packing? I'm guessing you'll start somewhere late in the day on the 16th....
