| Update 10/4 Let me warn you that this will be a long update! Why you ask well...I have photos but are they the photos you have been waiting for? you will have to keep reading to find out! Well yesterday we hit Ikea, boy that store is HUGE we found a couch we like but we will go look at a few other places to make sure its the one we want. That store wore me out though! Then this morning we got up early, we were out of the house by 8:45am. We drove the 3 exits to the Magic Kingdom, and we were walking through the gates of the Magic Kingdom by 9:30am. We spent the day in the park, I got my hair pixie dusted ![]() ![]() (sorry didn't take a photo in the parks, took it at home tonight) and we hit Tomorrowland and rode the TTA, Said hello to a Passporter who is now working in Tomrrowland hi Jyl!!! ![]() Then after visiting with Jyl and riding the TTA we headed to Philharmagic, that show. Then it was onto Lunch at Columbia Harbour House. the Anchors Aweigh sandwich the tuna sandwich is a change of pace from the standard hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and chicken fingers they usually have. But the real reason we ate there today is the Apple Crisp I it! After lunch we took a spin on the Liberty Bell, and that was a nice change of pace we haven't done that since probably 2002. They let us ride our scooters onboard so that was an experience since you know how well we do with that we did not hit anyone or anything so that was a first After the Liberty Bell we decided to stick with the "do something you haven't done in a while" mentality and made the silly mistake of going in to watch the Tiki Birds. OMG can I please have that 20 minutes of my life back. What a disspointment. We will be skipping that from now on unless its SOOOO HOT that we need the A/C break and even then I think I rather be stuck on IASW then that show. Sorry to those who love that show or were expecting a different response but seriously not our cup of tea. After that we wanted something to go in that we know we liked so we headed into Pirates of the Caribbean the Jack Sparrow additions and it is definitely one of our favorites so that hit the spot! After Pirates we headed over to get a spot for the parade. We parked our scooters on the deck of the Diamond Horseshoe Review building and then took turns going to the ladies room, and getting ice creams. With our Ice cream in hand we watched the Dream Come True Parade or whatever the current name is I am too busy crying to hear or see the banner usually as I every time I see a parade, fireworks or certain shows on property. Yep this was no different mom had extra napkins ready as I was balling by the 1st float I am such a sap! After the parade we slowly made our way out to the front of the park and took some photos with our cell phones to use as wall papers. Unfortunately we haven't really been in a photo taking mode but I want to go back maybe next week sometime and just take the time to photograph the decorations for Halloween. We took a look in the Jewelery store and then turned our buggies in as we had early dinner reservations tonight at Ohana's. We made our way to the resort monorail, we rode that twice around and then got off at the Poly as we were early like usual. We checked in and were seated right about 5pm. We were seated at a table for 3 right on the windows and the castle was the centerpiece of our view! Of course, the one time I don't plan a meal for the time of the fireworks we get the best table in the house Karma ? Our meal was fabulous! It was before, is now, and probably will always be our favorite meal on property. We had great servers, and they were always refilling our drinks, bringing the meats around, and making sure we were taken care of. Our Meal started with Pineapple Bread (yes for dinner but it was sooooo Good!) sorry we ate half before I remembered to take a photo! ![]() The Salad that dressing is so light and just tangy enough but sweet too it is sooo good! ![]() The Dipping Sauces ( mom loves them, I am not a dipping sauce girl but they smelled and she said they were delicious) ![]() The Dumplings Just picture me drooling yeah they are that good! ![]() The Wings ....ohhhhh those are sooooooooo good ![]() The Lo Mein was just ok I thought it was like take out personally and mom didn't enjoy it either I wish they would bring the potatoes back at least those tasted good to me. ![]() The Broccoli was good for broccoli but it isn't the focus of the meal so it does alright. ![]() The meat well by the time we finished the first course we were stuffed mom had some shrimp and a cube of the steak and I had 2 cubes of steak but we were so full and what not that we didn't try the turkey, or pork but they were always making sure we didn't want it I forgot to take photos of the meat (we are eating here on xmas so I'll make sure to do so then) sorry! Mom had an Ice Tea Unsweetened ![]() I had a Sprite ![]() It was a great meal and after a short ride to the TTC we made our way to the tram, then to our car, and then back to our apartment. Where I...... Up Next....Maybe more photos
