| I AM ALL DONE!!!!!! No More work!!!!  I have some news and some photos to share but we just got some unexpected company so I have to visit for a while! Tonight I'll post a lot of updates!!!

| Update 9/3/08- My Last Day of Work So Today was my last day of work and as you can tell by my countdown I was excited! I went in and everyone was making sure I knew they were jealous but happy for me! I went on my first break about 10:30am and my friends decorated my cubicle while i was out with Balloons, a pan of brownies to share and a pan of brownies to take home. They also had a card, and a few gifts waiting for me   I was Completely SURPRISED!!!! The card was Mickey and had the Phrase "Gotta go" on the outside and on the inside it said "We will miss you and good luck" It was PERFECT! They had managed to get everyone in the office to sign it without me noticing!!! We dug into the brownies, and that was a BIG thing since we are not allowed food in the office but the management allowed it since it was my last day!  My friend Maxine had gotten the balloons, the card, made the brownies and made me a crystal beaded window pull to put in my new room! It is so pretty. It has an angel in it. Then everyone spent the day saying "goodbye" and I did good until it came time to leave the office the last time. I said goodbye to Annette my best friend at work, and Maxine my other Best friend there. I broke down and had a little tear moment. I signed out, clocked out and turned my headset in and then turned in my ugly uniform. I was then walked out of the building and mom drove home. Where we took photos of my goodies. So as of 4pm today I am unemployed and ready to move LOL just if i could get packing! Here are my goodies!   Up Next....We bought some airfare it must be official!

| 2nd update 9/3/08 So After getting home and getting all the goodies in i turned on the computer and behold whats that a DING fare???? HMMMM..... See Grandma will have to fly home from Orlando back to Hartford/Springfield so we had to get her a 1 way ticket home AND Mom and I have to come home for my Cousin's Confirmation the last weekend in October. The DING was for both periods!  So what is a girl to do?  BOOK IT!!!! So Grandma will have her flight on Wednesday 9/24 its a non stop and we will arrange for assistance to the gate and lord willing she will make it onto the plane! and home to CT! Then we booked for our trip back home to CT for the confirmation too! So we will be taking our first roundtrip flight FROM orlando TO Hartford and BACK to ORLANDO!!!! End of October!

| Sounds like you had a wonderful last day, my friend! What great surprises your office friends had for you. I'm drooling just looking at those brownies - good thing they're on the other side of the screen, as I need to be good!  Time to pack!!

| What a wonderful last day. I'm sure there were mixed emotions as you were saying goodbye to your friends. Those brownies look delicious! And, how neat that you now get to purchase airfare roundtrip FROM Orlando instead of the other way around!
