| Chorus Boys Gone Wild! Greetings Passporters! In July 2008, I made a pilgrimage to Miami. Every four years gay and lesbian choruses from around the world descend on one city to perform. This year it was Miami. Usually when I take a trip I do some kind of trip report. This time this trip was a little different. I didn't do a traditional trip report on Passporter. This holiday was less like an exploration of Miami. It still was an adventure. If you would like to discover my experiences in Miami and GALA festival VIII, I created a web site that celebrates my 10 days in Miami. | I've just read through it and what a great report!  You guys all scrubbed up great for the performance. Villa Vizcaya looks absolutely stunning, I can see why it's one of the major tourist attractions in Miami. The beach is exactly as I imagined it - very stylish with lots of beautiful people around  and beautiful architecture as well.

| Thank you all for your positive comments. After re-reviewing my web site with a more critical eye, I would have to say it does have a decidedly adult bent. I'm just putting that out there to warn you. I just thought it was basically harmless because nothing, absolutely nothing remotely scandalous happened to me while I was in Miami.

| This was a fun TR, Douglas. Looks like you hit all the Miami and SoBe highlights. I got to go there this past April on a bus tour and we toured Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive and then took a boat tour out around Star's Island. Missed Jungle Island though as well as Villa Vizcaya; both look beautiful. You had over a week to tour what we did in a day!  Hope your next chorus trip in 2012 is in an equally fun city!
