| Empty Nesters - Out westers Well we did it! Dropped our son off at Lawrence University in Appleton WI to study and play football for 4 years... We took a month to drive to the following locations: Voyageurs NP Theodore Roosevelt NP Yellowstone NP Grand Teton NP Badlands NP Mt Rushmore We put over 5500 miles on the rental car and had the trip of a lifetime. We flew from St Thomas to Detroit visited with family for a day, rented a car and began the drive! We drove north to the Upper Peninsula of MI and around the lake, down to Appleton WI where we spent 4 days getting our son settled in. What a great town! The rest is here, as you know we like to do our trip reports in photos... Enjoy! Empty Nesters Out Westers Janet

| What wonderful photos - I loved seeing those, especially as we're thinking about a road trip in 2011 that takes in Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore. ![]()
