Sorry your day trip was less than awesome. DH and I have visited KSC a couple of times. We enjoyed the times we went and it was fun to see when our oldest grandson was 10, but it's not a place I would have high on my "got to visit" places to go again anytime soon.

Hope your evening turns out to be much, much better.

I'm glad that you were able to fit the BLT model into the trip and I can't wait to hear your take on it!!

Too bad that the KSC wasn't up to par. We've often thought about visiting, but with 6 people, it's really expensive. Really, can you imagine Gabby in there?

Hope you had a nice dinner experience to make up for the less than great day. Sounds like at least your shopping was fun.

We had a nice meal at Boma last night with Lorie (MinnieLor) and her DH. The food wasn't as good as previous visits, but we still enjoyed it.

This morning, we went to the Wave for breakfast and then for a look around Typhoon Lagoon. We're now doing the laundry and the packing for our morning flight up to Chicago.

Lunch is calling - at Beaches and Cream and then tonight it's dinner at the Flying Fish Cafe, followed by IllumiNations.

I have no way of knowing if I'll get online again this trip. The computer's wifi is playing up, so I can only log on through cables. If those are available in Chicago and Disneyland, then I will be logging on from both places, but right now, I don't know if it will be.

Just in case - and if not, I'll be updating whenever I can.

Safe travels. Hope you find some computer cables so we can get an occasional update. I think DLH had cables but did not have wifi when we were there in August? Oh well, sorry we'll miss you in Chitown this week-end. I have charged Lesley with the task of posting pictures of your wonderful dinner on Saturday!
