| Fun in Minnesota-MOA 7 Meet! Well it is that time of year again! Yes, it is time for the recap of the annual MOA meet in Minnesota. We started out the MOA 7 meet by having a get-together at Michelle's (Marv) house on Friday evening. ![]() ![]() Michelle had snacks on the table arranged with Disney theming! Finally we tried Erbert and Gerbert's, another sandwich place. This time we had success! While we were waiting for dinner, Michelle and I decided to work on ironing on the transfers for our MOA 7 shirts. Judy did take pictures of us doing this, so hopefully she will be able to post them! After dinner, we moved into the living room for several rounds of Sandy's (whoSEZ) traditional family game-Christmas Pie which was renamed for this event MOA Pie. She had a big box with ribbons hanging out which were attached to various prizes. She was cleaning out her scrapping cupboard and found all sorts of cool things to share. ![]() ![]() Here is Judy (judyjo) with her collection of scrapbooking treasures! ![]() Here is Julie (portagethecat) with her new scrapbooking toys with her roommate Dee to the right of her. Another part of our Friday night gathering is the chance to look at each other's scrapbooks. We always have a lot of fun, and it gives us all some new ideas to try in our own scrapbooks. Here is a page from one of Julie's books that we all really thought was cool! ![]() Finally we had to have dessert. Michelle's youngest DS took the cupcakes and arranged them on a plate in the shape of hidden Mickey's. It was very cute! ![]() Up next: Scrapbooking from Dawn until Dusk....or something like that!

| MOA 7 Meet: Day 2 A Good Start to a Day of Fun at MOA Morning came a little too quickly. By the time I left Michelle's house Friday evening and dropped off Sandy and Judy, it was nearly midnight by the time I got home. Needless to say I was a bit tired. However, the prospect of seeing everyone again and scrapbooking all day brought me to life very quickly (as well as the thought of the Cinnabon that I would be having when I got to MOA!) ![]() Here is Dee with her mango lemonade which we all thought looked really good! ![]() Here is Maggie with her pizza. Several people had pizza; several people had salads and pasta. Denise and her mom had the right idea by ordering dessert first! ![]() Sorry the pics are a little blurry and off-color. Apparently my camera didn't like the lighting in the restaurant! ![]() Here is the group photo (taken my Bob) in front of the restaurant. Front row: Maggie, Naomi, Judy, Denise and Michelle. Back row: Carolyn, Dee, Julie, Sandy, Sally, and Vicky. Next up: Let the Scrapping Begin.....

| Nice start to the trip report, Vicky! Thanks for posting the pictures. I haven't even looked at mine on my camera, yet. Maybe in the next couple of days...

| O.K., so I didn't make you wait long! ![]() Carolyn standing while scrapping (and Sandy's mom). ![]() Maggie standing while scrapping. ![]() Maggie standing while doing Sandy and Bob's cricut. Sandy and Bob sitting. Hey wait, that's breaking my pattern of people standing while working!! (See I'm not the only one who stands...) ![]() Judy standing while scrapping. Whew, back to the pattern! I didn't know I had a theme going until I got home and looked at my pics! More pics in next link. And still no picture of the new queen...

| ![]() Julie and Dee, not standing, but not working, hee, hee! ![]() R to L: Denise, Sandy's sister Jean, Sandy's Mom (my mind is having a brain fart and can't remember her name. I've met and scrapped with her so many times...), Carolyn. ![]() One of our winners. I offered my centerpiece as a prize. How nice, huh? and the lucky winner of the magic mirror from snow white was Carolyn, the person who got 7 pages scrapped during the scrap mania. Actually there was a tie and they had to face off. First question: name the 7 dwarfs...Carolyn won. ![]() Winner of the VIP (very important princess) pillow was Denise. She got the least pages scrapped. I thought this would help her bum being she must have been relaxing a bit too much... And here she is, our new reigning queen who got the most pages scrapped... ![]() Vicky! We thought we'd never see the day. Vicky and I always joke about getting so few pages done. But, I tell ya, she's been a scrapping machine. Vicky and I have been getting together to scrap at my house and think the practice paid off, well, for her at least! I didn't even come close to winning even though I had good intentions. We had always talked about making t-shirts for our meet. Maggie posted a picture and some of us ironed it on. I customized mine, for good luck. Mine read, "Marv is going for the crown, 2008", but alas, it did no good...anyway, here's a shot of our shirts. ![]() Yes, Maggie, I cropped our bottom halves out, as I mentioned I would do, ha! Here's the last photo of the night... ![]() Back row: Dee, Julie, Sandy, Carolyn Middle row:Maggie, Judy Front row:Sally, Denise, Vicky, Michelle.

| I finally had the time to post a few photos from last weekend. I think these are attaching as thumbnails but you can click on it for a larger image. I am so technically inept. The first pic is Vicky ironing the transfer onto her shirt; next is Michelle who was also working on her shirt; third is Sally watching Denise attack her dessert; fourth is Bob with the Mickey ears he won in a challenge with Sandy looking on.

| Thanks Michelle and Judy for posting additional pictures! Thanks Michelle for finishing up the report on Saturday's scrapping. It was fun to look at all the pictures as we had such a good time that day. I'll have to find a good spot in my craft room to display the crown until next year!
