Okay so this isn't exactly "Wedding Related" but if Liam won the contest it would soooo help out!

Anyways, we entered our dog in a local radio show's Pet Costume Contest for Halloween. He made it to the "voting" stage. He is contestant number 18 at this link:

Okay so where was I? Oh yeah...
So in an attempt to find some supplies for engagement party invitations my mom, sister, niece and I headed to Michael's (the Craft store).

So, while we are there we walk through the flower section. And I picked out the bouqets. REAAAALLLL QUICK! LOL!

Here is a primitive version of the bridesmaid bouquet (my mom is amazing and will make them perfect)...


Yellow/Green Hydrangeas. Silk, of course!

Here is Lenore (my sis and Maid of Honor)'s...

Green hydrangeas with pink tips!

And here is a mixture of all with some white roses mixed in for my own bouquet.

We didnt purchase them because they were all like $12 a stem so as they go on sale my mom is going to make some trips back and forth to acquire what we need at a good price!

Thennnnnnnn as if that wasn't AMAZING! We found invitations to the engagement party I feel in love with! And they just happened to have cute Thank You cards in the same style, cute programs for the wedding, and get this cute WEDDING INVITATIONS as well!! I know I mentioned this over on my summer TR but I had to state again all that stationary we got for get this-- under a hundred bucks!! Yeowza Meowza! Best wedding deal yet! LOL! Here are some pics of the different things we picked up! They match sooo well!

And I was a little nervous we wouldn't have enough invites so Crissy (SCDisneyFan) picked me some up and just mailed them to me! Imagine 30 wedding invites for $10!!!!!!! Lucky me for finding a clearence on something so pretty huh?

Well, in any case, on with the actual Enagement Party deets...
So its fast approaching. We are having it at this clubhouse where my Aunt and Uncle live-- its beautiful! Rob and I both love the parties our family has had there. My mom is making this amaziny Castle cake since we are adding a slight "Once Upon a Time" theme. (We wrote that in the window of the invites, BTW, instead of "Please Join Us"). The favors are going to be these cute engagement ring cookies my mom makes, and then these little pails filled with mints that have a tag on them that says "Engage-mints"... lol! We haven't ironed out menu or centerpieces but it will all come together just fine! Plus you know me, I don't leave home without my camera!

LOL! You crack me up! My mom would be like the superfind for a wedding planning company! (BTW, is this a new job? I feel like I never knew that about you-- but I can be super oblivious! lol!) She is like a one-woman decorating machine from cakes, to pastries, to catering, to centerpieces and favors-- she often does the do-it-yourselfing to a point where I want to just pay someone so the stuff is done for me! lol!
