My attitude about Bridesmaid dresses was this: I like this color green in chiffon, and you can try on what you want but the one I like the best is what we will end up getting. I will not break your bank but I also wont lie and say you can "rewear" a dress that you really cant. lol.
And Davids Bridal was a great choice for this-- I recommend them completely all around!

That sandals resort is gorgeous! We actually toured the beaches resort in nassau when we were there earlier this year and was not impressed but that sandals resort is just amazing! I KNOW you are looking forward to that! I know i would have a countdown already if I were staying there *LOL*

OMG! I cant wait to go to World of Disney tomorrow! I dont know when its closing but I am not going back to the city until end of February so it will be a nice fix

BTW, I didnt even know there was a Beaches in Nassau! I know they have them in Jamaica and Turks and Caicos but niether of them looked that great to us either so I know what you mean! And thats soooo crazy about the dress! I also love that style eventhough I didnt pick it out myself! I actually had a prom dress that was similar in the way it opened up.

You are getting so much done, you should be very proud of yourself. Danny and I did an ALL Inclusive on our Honeymoon in Aruba and we loved it. We aren't drinkers but it was still worth it and I would do it again. . . . .

My sister also did an all inclusive Aruba honeymoon and I think in general you save money and stress with them in the end! No matter where you are!
And I dont know if I mentioned it but I have NEVER seen the tree in Rockefellar Center so I am super psyched about tomorrow (and about the fact that its supposed to stop raining by early afternoon tomorrow)!

hmmmm...maybe it was breezes *LOL* beaches....breezes ....sometimes it get them mixed up...nonetheless...it wasnt great. But i've heard great things about sandals. We actually looked online at the one in aruba i think it was. All inclusive rocks too...especially if you dont want to have to fuss over where to eat and carry cash with you. All inclusive is the way to go so the rate is fixed and you just need spending money because I have heard the resturants in those places are the best!

Nope :, we have school on the Monday (12/22) and Tuesday (12/23). Everyone is finding it to be pretty dumb to heat the building for 2 days, especially with the financial crisis and the cost of heating! Normally, we would have finished on the 19th, but no one is really sure what happened with the calendar this year. Since I don't technically teach any classes (other than cover AEP one period a day, which is in the morning on the 23rd), I'm hoping to get out of there early so we can make our 3:30pm flight in plenty of time.

I dont know why the calendar is the way it is for us. I can see why they wouldnt want to send anyone back on Friday January 2nd. But (and not that I am complaining) you would think Wednesday would be the first day off considering the school year ends around the same time every year since NY is a Regents state.

There could be one... I just dont remember seeing one. The sandals group of resorts looks much nicer to me than beaches, but I know the Jamaica beaches are supposed to be awesome. I had soooo much fun in NYC I am going to coordinate an update of sorts whenever I get a chance today! LOL! I got some great pics-- especially of the decorations in the WOD store. I vow that I am going to go down to a character meet and greet there before it closes in 2010! lol!

I actually just got a notice saying that the dresses were all IN! I cant believe it! I am going to try and head up there sometime this week since my other bridesmaid has to go and get fitted still. Ill let you all know how it goes!

Okay so I meant to do this way long ago buuuut, in any case, here are some pics from my field trip to NYC! I am so excited to share them because I got a really good wedding one (see siggie pic) and I got to go to WOD which is just about the only way I can get a Disney fix for the next TWO YEARS! That seems like forever but at least I can look forward to a trip in Decemberish 2010. And the WOD in NYC isn't closing until 2010 so I will have some time to use it for another fix or two! lol! Okay so....

We got dropped off in Times Square and hit the M&M store first. Then we headed towards 5th avenue to work our way up the road while shopping.


A car was blocking this pic but its the Cartier shop and I thought the Christmas decorations were so clever!

Anyways, we stopped along the way in H&M, and a couple other places I can't remember... lol... but made it with plenty of time to spare to the World of Disney Store:


I made my sister take a pic of me in the Bride ears! Then we shopped a bit, I got a new water bottle for work... totally adorable-- map of NYC with disney characters all over it. I also got a Christmas 2008 teddy bear, Just Married antenna toppers for me and Rob (they are so cute, a heart that says Just Married with mickey groom ears and minnie bride ears resting on it), Holiday Hot Cocoa sampler pack, a shot glass for Rob, and Mickey ears for Liam for Christmas! I think thats all. LOL!

After that we headed back toward Rockefellar Plaza, got some pizza (literally best pizza in the world), and visited a few more stores... the only one I remember specifically is the NBC store. Anyways, after that we went to see the tree! My first time ever! Definately something that should go on everyone's to do list, althrough the plaza isnt that big so if you dont ice skate I would say as awe-inspiring as it is, either fold it into a trip you're already taking or plan something else for the evening as well!




The pic of me with someone else is my sister, who also came with us on the trip! I have some other pics of my group but I can't post them becasue they are my students. Anyways, (and Crissy I hope you are proud of my use of the color accent feature on the Cannon...lol) after that we walked around a bit and then got back on the charter bus to head home. It was so much fun!

Anyways, Ill be back with more wedding fun sooon! Enjoy this for now!

What a great day in the city...sounds like you got some nice trinkets over at WOD...(that is my Disney fix when I know it will be awhile till we head back - I think my boss must figure it out becuase those are the days I take a long lunch )
