| 358 Days to go - Some decisions have been made - many others remain up in the air. Decisions that have been made: 1. No open bar (neither Chris nor I are drinkers). Beer, wine and lots of non-alcoholic beverages will be available. 2. Started talking to the bridesmaids/MOH about dress colors. We are thinking peacock feather colors - ![]() Particularly the green and blue. Then maybe use some of the brown/beige as an accent. I am debating an all white dress, or a dress with accent color. I am leaning toward color (since I am so fair skinned). Pending decisions - the wedding bands. Chris wants a plain platinum band for himself - and wants to get the matching band for my engagement ring. I really like it - but not the price of it!! $2100! I think we should go with two plain bands. It is an ongoing "discussion" at the moment. Mom just called and offered to pay for whatever Chris and I want them to pick up - now to figure out what I want them to pick up. I never knew that getting married required SO MANY decisions!!!

| Love the idea of the green/blue with accents of the soft browny-gold. Very natural and beautiful. Can't wait to hear what you choose for yourself. Going with a white or ivory with blue-green trim at the neckline or waist is a nice idea. I think a real white is hard color to wear. I vote for Lesley to be in on the choosing--she did such a great job helping with your cruise dresses!

| Today was the girl's Jr Bridesmaid and Bride dress shopping day. Dsis will have to wait until we are closer to get her dress (and DN's too - since she is growing like a weed). We started with a lunch at the cheesecake factory - Aunt T's treat, and then headed to David's bridal - where DNiece tried on three dresses, we like 2 and of course she has a favorite. I tried on a TON of dresses - everything from a poofy Cinderella gown to a champagne color sheath covered in while lace (which I LOVE...). I have plans for this coming weekend to go to another bridal shop with a friend of mine to look at more dresses. I am sort of just feeling things out - taking lots of notes and going from there at this point - I mean, Its not like I need the dress tomorrow. I leave on Wed to fly home, work on Thursday and spend Friday with the wedding planner driving around looking at the first set of venues (we have a second day of venues planned for the following Thursday since Chris is off and I took off).

| I also really like the colors that you and Chris have chosen. The champagne sheath with lace on top sounds beautiful. Some champagne diamond drop ear rings would go perfect with that.

| I'm so glad you're sharing your plans with us! Sounds like you are already making headway. When I was my BFF's maid of honor in November of 2007, she used peacock feathers (and the colors) in her wedding. We carried the feathers (with the ends wrapped in ivory ribbon trailing to the floor) instead of flowers, and they were used at the end of the pews, on the tables at the recpetion, etc. It was really amazing and dramatic and she ordered them by the 1000 off of eBay. Ended up being MUCH cheaper than flowers, too. The only downside was one of the bridesmaids was allergic to feathers and she didn't realize it until the day of the wedding. My MOH dress was a peacock blue as well -- I'll try to find a picture and post it. It was from David's Bridal.

| The colors in the peacock flowers are so pretty. I think you have begun to lay quite a good foundation for a magical wedding. Can't wait to read more!
