I like the first one, it shows off your beautiful ring.
When you're in Seattle, will you be at the Corps building at all? My dh works there in the IT department. We're having beautiful weather right now, although a little too hot for this native Washingtonian.

I side with all of those that said Photo #1 because of your beautiful ring and the formal tone of it all. Good luck keeping the dress hidden from Chris. Good luck on your trip and hope all goes well for you.

Home from Seattle - and almost back into planning
I arrived home on saturday and was back at work today (I worked from home yesterday). Last night - we ordered our toasting flutes and cutting/serving set from Things Remembered - we even had them personalized with our names and the wedding date.
We must have looked at 20-30 different sets at various places/websites before deciding on simple.
This weekend we will be in North Carolina visiting Chris' mom and some of her family (and I get to meet the last aunt I have not met yet). We may even do some rafting too.
Next Thursday we have our tasting with the caterer - and if that goes well - we will hire them. I also placed the order for the groom's cake - which will be a surprise for Chris - he knows he is getting one - but no real details and no idea who is making it. Not sure if we will be meeting with Monica next week or not - all depends on if we have more things to do.
We have hired the florist and the videographer - and the deposits have been paid on those fronts. I added Lilies and Delphinium to my flowers in addition to the original flowers I wanted. The Lilies will be for the centerpieces at the reception - but the delphinium (dolphin dontcha know) will be in my bouquet.
I also learned that two of the four BM/BOH have their dresses - here are the styles (not colors) of Jolene (my Jr Bridesmaid) and Tracy - they will both be in clover. Jolene's dress from the back (they don't have a photo of the front). Tracy's dress
I am happy that 1/2 the dresses are taken care of - now if I can get MOH and my DSis to get in gear!!
Items for me to deal with starting after 16 Sept - which is when I graduate from my training program and can actually focus on the wedding -
1. My veil. I have my mom's - how does it look w/my dress? I need to get it cleaned and then decide if I am wearing it or buying a new one.
2. Shoes - two pairs - one for the wedding and one for the reception
3. Hair decoration -- no idea what to do here yet.
4. Bridal undergarments... nuff said.
Ok - off to bed. Have to be at work early!

sweet update! our toasting glasses/servers were a very similar style but from lenox (its called forevermore if you wanna google it)! I love the simple ones. they are so pretty!
and OMG my girls wore clover!!!!! LOVE IT!!! The bridesmaids dresses were a little similar to the one for Tracy but from Davids Bridal... but then again you probly saw that on my FB. it was boatneck more then halter and had a bigger sash.
anyways... obviously that means i LOOOOVE them too!! great stuff! you really are moving right along!
oh and i love the flower additions! very pretty!!!
Absolutely love all the choices! The dresses are beautiful, as are the flutes and cake set. The blue of the delphinium will be perfect for your bouquet--should complement the blue in the jewelry you're wearing.
Love all your choices. Are all of your bridemaids wearing the same dress or are they getting different styles? Tracy's dress is so elegant. Just beautiful.

Different styles and two different colors - Tracy and my 11 yr old niece will wear clover, my sister and my MOH will wear a blue/turquoise color. I have 4 different body shapes to deal with - 5'2" italian olive skinned; 5'8" nordic fair skinned; 5'5" sister (much like me) and my 11 yr old niece. One dress style would not fit all of them - so I gave them the two colors and told them to get dresses they like and are comfortable with.
