| Cast: Me/Kristen DH/Alec DS1/Devin DS2/Thomas Furbaby/Baby Well this adventure started about 6 weeks ago. I got a phone call from the realitor that had showed us an apartment 4 weeks earlier...she stated that we were approved for an apartment! First thought was "WOW, this is so great!" Second thought was "Ahhh man, now I have to pack stuff". Well the first thing I had to do was inform my landlord that we were giving 30 days...I didn't want to do it. See the problem is...my sister, who lived across the hall from me, had just givin her notice as well and I just knew the landlord would be upset. Well I was right. He had no choice but to accept our notice. We had payed 2 months upfront in Febuary and now, well he had to return it. We contacted family to get help moving (sure everyone has been there). Set up days for everyone to come and help. Many nights spent packing. Well we have done a BUNCH of moving already. We still have more to do.....I'll let you know what happens next time!

| Well, i am down to my last 4 days. Then I have to have everything cleaned out. I am ready to strangle my old landlord though...he has already been in the apartment several times without notifying us. i really don't understand what is so hard about calling the day before and letting us know he's coming?! We were at the "old" house on last Wednesday and who shows up unanounced? You guessed it the landlord....and low and behold he has a perspective tenent with him. We were spackaling and packing and he's showing the place! I wouldn't have minded but we had no notice. Thankfully I have a few ppl to help me this week to finish it up (thanx Mary!). The new place is so peacefull, My closest nieghbor is 100 feet away on the right and 1/2 a mile on the left and rear! I love the country! No more brick wall out my window, no more ppl loitering on my front stairs, no more drug bust downstairs! The kids just started in their new school today...i just hope they have a great day. They are going to what is called a "peace builder school", meaning the children take a pledge everyday to not bully or name call, to be fair to everyone and to treat everyone as a friend. The school takes the pledge very seriously...any violation can mean detention up to suspention! Well I shall end for now....but I'll be back for more in a few....lol

| Well the end of my first part of this journey is rapidly approching. Tomorrow we are going to the "old' house to move one last room consiting of 4-5 boxes, a lamp, a bookcase and, strange as it sounds, ammo cans filled with nuts and bolts....lol Once the cleaning is done I will call the old landlord and do a walkthru. The only problem is...he says i don't have be there for the walk thru! I don't thinky so. I am so not going to be like my sister....she moved a month ago and still hasn't gotten her deposit back! :-0 We will see what happens. i really don't want to take him to court. The new place is unbelievable. My boys have a back yard to run in, I don't have to worry about someone taking them. I can't wait to get everything settled and then take my pics.

| Sounds like a great move for you and your family. Hope things work out well with old landlord. I love the country myself. Had to move into an apartment about 2 years ago for 6 months and found myself holding my breath a lot while I was there. Once we got back to our house in the middle of the woods I realized how off my breathing patterns were and it was good to get more rest and enjoy days too. Have a wonderful time in your yard with children.

| Yep I am going to help today to get the last bits of odds and ends but now that I realize I can easily jump on the turnpike and it will only take me 20 min. to get to Kristen's that I might be able to handle her move out to the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!!!! However the big back yard is a blessing. WE have peace and quiet in the house now when I visit on weekends.
