| I wondered if you were going to post pictures. I'm glad that I found them. It was a very nice walk down memory lane. We have so many of the same pictures. When we visited Qeubec City we stayed in a B&B in lower town. Oh my gosh! walking up those hills were about to kill me. I was huffing and puffing and along came someone older tham me on a bike. I've got to know which restaurant that you had lunch on the Grand Allee. We had a superb table de'hote for lunch across the street from McD's. DH and I are hoping that we can return to Quebec for our 15th wedding anniversary. Thanks for posting all of your wonderful photos and providing us with memories.

| Great pictures. As Minnie Lor said, its a reminder of a great vacation we took a few years ago. We stayed at a hotel on Rue St Paul and made the walk up to the old town a couple of times. We would certainly like to make a trip back again. We spent 4 days in Montreal, took the trail to Quebec City and then spent 3 days in Quebec City and loved every minute of it.

It wouldn't be as bad if you are healthy and have a moderate level of physical fitness, but I kinda wish I'd grabbed a cab to go back to my hotel. It really wasn't the smartest decision I ever made. I have an injury from my accident last year and even today I'm still hurting from walking up the hill. In fact, I now think I'll be in a wheelchair again in WDW in a couple weeks because I'm not sure I can walk as much as you have to in WDW.We ate table d'hote at a couple of the sidewalk cafe's on Grand Allee, but the one that photo is from was Auberge Aux Canons, I believe, and it is across the street from McD's. You can't miss it - it has a couple cannons at the entrance to the sidewalk dining area and a bright red metal roof - absolutely delicious meal. We also ate at Cosmos (they have a window aquarium looking into each of the bathrooms from the eating areas! Quote:
And to everybody who is saying they would love to go to Quebec City, I say Do It!! It's awesome!!

| Most definitely put Quebec City on your tour list. While you are there, take the guided tour of the Chateau Frontenac. The cost is reasonable and its very informative. We were even taken into the Presidential Suite while there. Table d'hote on the Grand Allee is a must. We only wish we had discovered it earlier in our stay. We found it by accident after trying to get into a high priced "French Canadian Traditional" restaurant for lunch. Food was excellent and the service was even better. We also took the boat tour on the St Lawrence that went out to the Mt Morency (spelling wrong) falls.

| Love Quebec city! We were there last year around this time and it was lovely. Your pics have brought back some fond memories. thanks. PS. If anyone is going and needs to shop for kids there is a HUGE toy store called Benjo on rue st. catherines est. Great store with the big seller toys and the more off beat toys too. Also kids clothes: check out souris mini found in the shopping malls. the clothes are really cute and a little more european in design ( Gap pricing but with very distinctive designs)

| Great pictures Donna! Bob and I got engaged at L'estral (the rotating restaurant in the hotel you stayed at) so these pictures bring back so many memories. I think it's time to go back!
