| Gosh I really don't remember. I think what we did (because his family wasn't used to it) was to have the father/daughter dance and then towards the end the MC announced DH/mom dance with us. So we really all danced to the same song. Once that was done the next song I danced with the Best Man (because my FIL wasn't there) and DH danced with my mom.

| I've seen some that have danced to instrumental music, so that they didn't have to worry about the lyrics. My BIL and his mother danced to a Barry Manilow song "You are my child" or something like that.

| Unfortunately, we only had a song to play in my DMIL's memory, as she was killed tragically by a drunk driver in a boating accident.

| We didn't do a mother/son dance because DH had his mom (who didn't raise him), his ex-stepmom (who rasied him from about 4-teen) and his dad's current girlfriend (who was most prominent in our relationship) all in attendance. So any mother/son stuff was tricky for us. Anyway, one I have heard used before and was actually my father/daughter dance was When You Say Nothing At All by Allison Krause. Only we had a live band who played/sang it for us. And because I have a lot of cowboy/country friends, I've also heard Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys done.

| That's what Scott and his mother danced to as well. I got a list from the Knot web site.

| Nate asked me to give him three songs that I would like to dance to with him and of the three he picked the song. He decided on "Find Your Wings" by Marc Harris. Of course, he surprised me when the song started playing, he hadn't told me which one he chose. And of course I cried!

| My DH and MIL danced to a song called "Time of your Life" and my mom and I danced to "Because you loved me" by Celine Dion. I danced with my mom because she raised me basically alone and I felt d=she deserved the honor.

| Pat's mother passed away three years before our wedding, so it wasn't an option for him. At Camille and Neil's wedding, he danced to an Elvis song, which I think was "The Wonder of You". |

| "Wind beneath my Wings". Actually, my Dad and I danced first and then Steve and his Mom joined us. It was really nice.
