| Wow, Main Street at Tokyo Disneyland looks so pretty! I don't remember it being covered but I love it!!! Putting a roof on it is a GREAT idea. Way better than the covered "arcades" they have behind the shops on either side at DLP, as those always get congested when it's cold and/or rainy Can't wait to see more pictures of Tokyo Disneyland!

| All caught up! I suppose it wouldn't be Disneyland if it wasn't designed after Disneyland, but, I guess, I was expecting some "Japanese nostalgia" mixed in, especially in Main Street. Maybe I'm just not seeing it all, or it's in other areas of the parks? Just an observation, not meant to be negative, because I'm very impressed with everything from the Monorail (and the way they incorporated Mickey into the design) to the Mosaic to the Hotel to Fukuda's enthusiasm... undoubtedly Disney! Beautiful pictures and interesting updates!

| Wow! The pictures of the hotel were amazing! And how weird to see Main Street with a glass covering. I'm excited to read more!

| Wow! What great pics you take!!! That hotel is amazing. And I too was very surprised to see all the signs on Main Street in English. To me it looks almost like an exact replica of WDW's main street which I guess is the point, but I guess I just pictured it much differently in my head. Still very beautiful though and unmistakenly Disney! Is that Cinderella's castle? Looking forward to more!!! |

| Wednesday 8 April – part three: what flavour popcorn is that?! We carried on walking into Frontierland and took lots of photos there. As we expected, the park was pretty quiet this morning, which was a good sign. Again, another great uniform for the Big Thunder Cast Members! It was about now that we found the first of Tokyo Disney’s weirdly flavoured popcorn. I had read about this in my guidebook and was really keen to see this for myself and this was the first that we found: And yes, for those rubbing their eyes with disbelief – you did indeed read that correctly – curry popcorn! We found our way towards Adventureland. Here, we discovered the Enchanted Tiki Room with Stitch, who is hugely popular here. We went in, not really knowing what to expect and a couple of minutes later, a Cast Member came to find us to give us handheld translation devices. They were so cool and translate literally everything, which included some of the songs, such as Hawaiian Roller Coaster. At long last I now know what they’re singing in that in English! The translation devices Next: a very enthusiastic Jungle Cruise skipper!

| Cheryl I finally got caught up with your latest additions and wow, Disneyland Tokyo looks so cool, however I think I would be hesitant to try the Curry Popcorn. Your pictures are making DLT on my list of parks to go visit! I would most certainly have to visit the Tiki Room with Stitch as DH, DS, & I all love Stitch!
