I had a hard time letting go of some of those guys after the photo shoot, trust me!

By the way, a few girls actually asked Alex Meraz for a kiss (yes, a proper one, not just on the cheek). He's married but his wife was there and said she didn't care so he did it.

Yeah, don't think I would have gone that far ... esp. with him having a wifey.... She must have been nursing quite a few FABs to allow that....... Unless, that turned her on???? I'm sure that's a whole 'nuther' episode.... Can't wait to read more....

I don't know any of the people you got photos with, but I'm really enjoying the pictures! It definitely was worth the splurge to get the Gold Pass. More, please!

Sounds like the gold passes were definitely worth the extra cost!! Those are some REALLY hot guys! Now, who exactly is Alex Meraz? Is he one of the wolf pack in New Moon? I can't wait to see that movie!

Yes, Alex Meraz plays Paul in New Moon. I have to admit, after meeting him, I'm tempted to switch from Team Edward to Team Paul, even though I don't particularly like the character in the books!

Saturday, July 18th – Part Two: Front and center, baby!

As we left the convention, we took a pic of the building outside because I thought it looks really cool:

This is the entrance to Earl’s Court station.

Here’s our hotel. On the outside, it looks really nice. The rooms, however, not so much…

We took a nice half-hour break in our room, then headed back out because our stomachs were screaming for some lunch! We went to Subway for some chicken teryaki subs. Around 3:30pm, we arrived back at the convention. The Stargate talk was scheduled to start at 3:50pm, so we went straight to the main talk area. While the Stargate talk was free with admission to the LFCC, regular ticket holders had to pick up a “talk ticket” early in the morning in order to secure a seat for the talk. As Gold Pass holders, however, we were guaranteed a seat in the front three rows. I gotta say, that’s by far my most favorite perk of the Gold Passes!

When we arrived at the entrance to the talk area, we saw that the Scott Bakula talk was still going on. This talk was "paid", meaning you had to buy separate tickets for it unless you had Gold Passes. Honestly, I had no idea who the guy was but since my back was, again, starting to act up, we decided to go in anyways just so we could sit down. We took seats in the front row, way off to the side. When the Scott Bakula talk was over, everyone had to exit the talk area before anyone would be let it for the Stargate talk – well, everyone except the Gold Pass holders, that is! So of course we got up and grabbed the best seats in the house – front row, dead center, 3 feet away from the little stage!!! Soon Petra joined us (as huge Stargate fans, neither of us would have wanted to miss this talk for the world!). We also met a girl who’d come to the LFCC all the way from Israel. Here we are, waiting for the talk to begin:

Soon, Michael Shanks and Jewel Staite made their entrance:

They thanked us all for coming and were obviously very comfortable in front of an audience.

Then they started answering questions. Unfortunately, I can’t remember most of what has been asked, sorry. I do remember someone asking Michael who from the cast he thought was the funniest. He said Richard Dean Anderson and the guy who played Martin Lloyd.

When asked how much of the show was ad-libbed, Michael said that pretty much everything Richard Dean Anderson said in the later seasons was improvised. His lines in the script were always just rough drafts, and he'd always say what he wanted to anyways. Honestly, you can totally tell when you watch the show! And it's awesome, because he is hillarious

In the fifth season of Stargate Atlantis, Jewel as Dr. Keller has to choose between Ronon and Rodney. She was asked who she’d pick in real life if she had to. Jewel answered that for Dr. Keller, Rodney is the better fit since they’re both kinda geeky, but that she herself would rather go for Ronon. I myself would as well - in case you were wondering

Eventually, I got ahold of the mike so I asked Michael if he was allowed to tell us something about the new tv-show Stargate Universe. He told me that he’ll be in the pilot episode but not much so he only really read parts of the script for that episode. And, really, if he knew anything, he probably wouldn’t be allowed to say anything anyways. Yeah, well, I figured that much, but it was worth a shot.

A few pics from the talk (please excuse the poor quality, we weren’t allowed to use the flash):

Here a fan asked Jewel if she could pat Michael’s hair.

As the saying goes, time flies when you’re having fun. The talk was over before I knew it!

Afterwards, we went to pick up our pictures from the photo shoots. I liked my “hug-pic” with Michael a lot so I decided to have him sign it:

I posted the pic earlier in this TR. Michael wrote “Sabine, Love & Cuddles, XO, Michael”

This is a pic Petra took with Michael.

As we strolled along the autograph tables, we saw that Alex and Justin weren’t busy so we just walked up to them for a couple pictures:

I can’t get enough of Alex…

Well, reluctantly, we finally left the LFCC, went back to the hotel and took a long break.

The pretty view from our hotel room window.

We were beat!

Around 6:45pm, we walked to the Green Door Steakhouse, where we had a dinner reservation for 7pm. The 15-minute stroll was wonderful, as we saw more of this nice corner of London.

At the Steak House.

We were among the first to get seated. The restaurant became quite crowded as the night progressed.

I went for the crushed pepper fillet steak. It was good, just a tad too spicey for me.

Manuel had a sirloin steak. Delicious!

I’m a big dessert person, and this chocolate dish (sorry, forgot what it was called) was to die for!

Manuel liked his tiramisu as well.

Outside the restaurant, I spotted a red phone booth and I just had to have a picture.

On the way back to the hotel, I took two more pictures of the beautiful old houses:

Next: They’re called “Goldbären”
