Thanks for adding those pictures, Cheryl! I was more or less counting on that, actually The pictures you took with your camera while we were on the Eye turned out much better than what we were able to snatch! I especially love the close-up shot of Big Ben

Agreed.

I'm amazed at how light it still was on top of the Eye - especially at that time of the evening and with all the cloud cover.

Wonderful photos! That is one very tiny hotel room, and I can't imagine staying there for more than a weekend. I love traveling around London by tube, but HATE those long escalators...very scary for someone afraid of heights.

That was one tiny room! Did you have to crawl over the bed to get to things? It looks that way at least.
Glad you got to meet Mark & Cheryl. Great pics from the night too! the night shot of the London Eye!

Sounds like a really fun day! And that coconut reika is yummy, I know! How wonderful you were able to meet up with Chez and Mark even though they were feeling poorly. And all the wonderful photos made me feel like I was right there with you. That is a small hotel room! Hopefully the bed was comfortable. Hurry back with more, please!
