| Yep Teri - groceries can be pricey here. But I found that it was worse in Hawaii!! Sounds like you had fun the Berry Co and Sourdough Mining. They are fun places even for us locals!! My mom LOVES!!! their hand-made candy. I occasionally take her there just to get some. Hope you have a good day in class. Key you later!

| So when you say expensive with groceries - how much difference are you talking to what you're used to? I'm always fascinated by how prices - and sometimes quality - varies across the States with groceries, as here you get the same price and quality everywhere in the country.

| have you had a chance to do the Wildride Sled Dog Show while you're in Anchorage? Seavey's Iditarod Race Team/ Ididaride Sled Dog Tours they have a matinee and a dinner show this year... great fun  I'll have to read your trip report when I'm at home (at work now and shouldn't be on here AT ALL! shhhhhhh) but I'm sure you are having a great time (the weather's been killer awesome save for the forest fires! LOL)
