| Holy cow! Great video! I love the bore tide video, I've only caught it a couple times in the many years that I've been up here....great timing! I'm excited for you about the bear sighting, but you were closer than I would've gotten. If it had gotten agitated with so many people around.....they move pretty fast! Hope the rest of your trip is great! Can't wait to see more videos!

| Great updates. I couldn't get the bore tide video to work - it was the only one that didn't work for me. How cold was it up by the glacier? I notice Jake was in shorts but you did mention how cold it was... the colours of that were amazing and, as for the bear - how awesome! ![]()

| Two last updates from the day in Seward - musings http://web.me.com/drdolphin/Terris_website/Blog/Entries/2009/7/13_The_road_to_seward_-_part_4_-_aquarium_memories_%26_another_glacier!!.html Cheryl - I would say it was in the 50s with a wind coming off the glacier - and Jake admitted to being cold (as was I - where my shins were exposed...). Also the bore tide video is a Quicktime movie - do you have quicktime?

| Too cool! It looked colder than the 50s from those photos... and I guess I don't have Quicktime, as my computer won't play it.

| Terri, I am having so much fun watching your videos! I can't believe what you've already done today....makes me feel like a lazy slug! I love, love , LOVE your video of the porpoises! We went on virtually the same trip about 3 weeks ago, and while we saw porpoises, they were zipping around a lot further out from the boat, I couldn't catch them on video. Can't wait to see what you do next!

| Wow, looks like you're having an amazing time. Alaska is certainly beautiful. I think my favorite thing that you've seen so far is the whales!
